Goal: Establishing and maintaining healthy patterns with church staff and by extension the church family. Helping them become conscious of the patterns in their lives and to be healthy as they serve in, what can be, a stressful ministry context.
Rationale: Church ministry is stressful and brings increased risk for burn-out, church conflict, ministry dissatisfaction, and personal/family/marital strain.
Style: This is an assessment style program. The approach is supportive and educational. If further services or counseling is needed, suggestions will be made for individual follow-up with our staff or referral will be given to other providers as needed.

Counseling for engaged couples is important to create a strong foundation. Looking at biblical truths and integrating that with helpful assessments can help a couple understand the complexities of this deep relationship they are entering into as they marry. We use things like Prepare-Enrich, Enneagram, and Gottman to assess strengths and weaknesses. We review conflict resolution and communication patterns. Working in connection with the local church, we can help couples apply biblical teachings to their lives.
