Angie always knew she wanted to make a difference in people’s lives therefore setting her sails to becoming a Mental Health Counselor. Angie now has over 20 years of dedicated experience, expanding upon that passion through many roles within the mental health field. She has been a trusted counselor and an active group facilitator over the years to children, teens, couples, the military, military dependents, behavioral health programs, organizations and state/local agencies. Angie has extensive training in testing and reporting, often utilizing test instruments as a tool within overall treatment. With her compassionate and empathetic approach, Angie applies attentive listening skills-taking the time to get to know her client and what is important to the client throughout the counseling process. Trained in a range of counseling modalities, her belief “one size does not fit all” allows her to tailor counseling to the client’s individual traits, personalities, and needs. Angie is prepared to navigate the journey with you, together- a destination to calmer waves when life brings out rough seas.
